Manjistha is described in classical texts as a rakta-shodhaka — used in beauty and complexion rituals. Ratanjoth has long been used for its deep red stain. Together they sit in a simple balm.
Ritual
Warm a little on your fingertip and press onto clean lips. Wear alone, or under colour. Reapply whenever lips feel dry.

Before you use
It leaves a sheer burgundy stain that builds with use. It is a tint, not a lipstick — colour stays soft and fades through the day.
No synthetic colour is added. The burgundy comes from manjistha and ratanjoth roots.
This batch is made with beeswax. A plant-wax version is not yet available.
